The History of Man Kiu

Our school was founded in 1969 by the Hong Kong Man Kiu Association and the late Supervisor Mr. Chan Yee Pon. Currently, the school is supervised by Mr. Chan Boon Teong, who continues to uphold the educational spirit of Man Kiu.

Our school is a government-subsidized primary school. In 1982, it transitioned to full-day schooling. Starting in 2002, in addition to local students, the school also began admitting non-Chinese speaking students, for whom English is the main language of instruction. As a result, the school has become more internationalized.
