Language Policy

When a student begins at MKAPS, his or her proficiency in Cantonese and English is
assessed. A classroom programme is then implemented to provide for a variety of
learning and language needs. Students with English or Cantonese as their second
language are given in-class language support, which includes flexible language
groupings based on ability, to develop the language strands (listening and speaking,
viewing and presenting, reading and writing) and to achieve bilingual student
outcomes.
